    I worked on the Higher Knowledge alternate reality game, focusing on puzzle design and contributing to the narrative and creative direction. Our small team managed to construct an amazing experience that spanned websites, blogs, video games, live events and more.

  • Inspired by Final Fantasy VIII's Triple Triad, Knightfall Rivals is a casual card-game based upon History's Knightfall television series.

    I joined the Knightfall: Rivals team post soft-launch as a Game Designer. I designed the solo campaign, 50+ new cards, seven King Cards, and rebalanced 75+ cards.

  • A merging of the classic card game and Puzzle Quest.

    I worked on Magic the Gathering: Puzzle Quest as a Systems Designer. I designed core systems such as card crafting, and helped design numerous PvE and PvP events.

  • A retro strategy puzzle hybrid. Originally inspired by the desire to create a strategy-heavy, management-light experience, the finished game mixes elements of Bejeweled and XCOM.

    A Throne's Tale was my first larger solo project, attempting to mix match-3 mechanics with turn based tactics.

  • A fast-paced mini-game extravaganza. Warioware meets Diehard!

    I created A Christmas Blast for Wizard Jam 8, a game jam hosted by the Idle Thumbs community.

  • A sprawling narrative adventure following the adventures of Timmy and Grandma, and their quest to cook the perfect pizza.

    Created for Wizard Jam, Pizza Tonight is meant to be a surreal mad-libs inspired experience.

  • A fish tank for your desktop. The sim uses evolutionary algorithms and machine learning to create a tiny ecosystem. Fish live, feed, die and evolve based upon their environment.

    I made this game for my pops, the fish science guy.

  • A turn-based strategy game with roots in the tower defence genre.

    Adventurer's Guild is another solo project that I've been working on periodically. I want to remove the tedious micromanagement elements of XCOM-alikes by merging the genre with tower defense games.

  • A reflex-based platformer in the style of Super Meat Boy - but with a twist. The game is limited to a single input.

    Pip is meant to be an accessible platformer, that tries to use procedural generation and dynamic difficulty to remove the frustration of classical platformers. There's no game-over condition; however, after enough losses, the level procedurally regenerates intending to keep players in a flow state.
